In 2018, I was invited by the New York IAC (Irish Arts Centre) to donate a piece for their fundraising efforts. This is for the construction of the new Manhattan Centre & Theatre.
My portrait was one of only 19 pieces of art presented at the after-dinner auction, alongside donations by renowned and esteemed artists such as the wonderful Colin Davidson, poet Paul Muldoon, photographer John Minihan, a signed guitar by Cold Play, the list goes on – even Bono offered his artistic services to the highest bidder. A truly amazing evening.
